Natasha Turner
Board Member
Born and raised in California and a veteran spouse who lived the Navy-nomad life for 11 years, Natasha came to the Gallatin Valley in 2021 with her husband, 2 kids and pup. Outside of Farm To School, she works as a technical program manager and has a background in engineering and flight test on Navy aircraft.
In raising their family, both she and her husband have taken a keen interest in our food system, understanding how food is produced and how it can come to be of the best quality. Natasha first saw the impact Farm To School can have on children when her own picky eater came home from camp excited about eating sage and kale from the garden bed at Story Mill Park. When the opportunity to join the board arose, she couldn’t resist the chance to bring that same connection with our food to other kids. She wants to ensure that other kids and families continue to benefit from these community connections and opportunities.
Natasha loves keeping a healthy, active lifestyle with her family. A self-proclaimed “foodie”, when not outside you can usually find her trying a new recipe or making an old favorite for her family or friends.
