Tell us about OnSite Energy:
OnSite Energy is a locally owned solar power contractor specializing in solar electric (photovoltaic) project development, design, and installation.
Something OnSite Energy is working on?
One of the cool projects we are working on is a small micro-grid in Yellowstone National Park. We’re excited to help the park meet their electricity needs in a sustainable way, and to create an educational opportunity for the ever-increasing number of people coming through the park to learn about solar technology and micro-grids.
Something OnSite Energy is proud of?
We are really proud to be a certified B Corporation! B Corps are businesses that meet the highest standards of verified environmental and social performance. We are constantly seeking new ways to do better, be better, and use our business as a platform to create a positive impact in our community.
What inspires OnSite Energy?
Taking care of the environment! In other words, the urgent societal need to transition away from heavily polluting traditional energy sources with far-reaching negative environmental impacts to clean, renewable energy sources like solar.
Why are you involved with Gallatin Valley Farm to School?
Our goal of installing solar for the benefit of our natural environment, our future generations and our state’s economy aligns perfectly with GVF2S’s mission of cultivating vibrant farms, healthy kids and strong communities. We believe GVF2S is laying the foundation for the sustainability advocates of the future, and we are proud to support them through our Solar for Conservation program!
