Montana’s Treasures – 2014 Poster Winners

GPrize2014Area Students Portray Locally Grown Foods as ‘Montana’s Treasures’

How could anyone express appreciation for MT grown foods better than apples, carrots, pumpkins, potatoes and pears adorned with golden crowns?  This year’s Farm to School Poster contestants certainly depicted just how much we all love our Montana (food) Treasures!  From cherries to squash, strawberries to peas, students in Gallatin County celebrated National Farm to School Month this October by creating inspiring, original posters that captured the theme “Montana’s Treasures.”  In it’s third year, over 100 students from twelve schools submitted artwork for the contest organized by Gallatin Valley Farm to School.
