Afterschool Program Coordinator – MSU Internship or Work Study Position, Winter/Spring 2018
The Afterschool Program Coordinator will assist with development and teaching of educational programs in subject areas related to food, nutrition, gardening, environmental science, and agriculture for children in elementary through middle school afterschool programs.
Gallatin Valley Farm to School’s internship program offers people interested in food and garden education the chance to gain experience teaching in our interactive and engaging programs in school gardens, classrooms and in the community. Interns work in collaboration with GVF2S staff and partners to support the organization’s farm to school spring and summer programming for students in grades K-8. This includes planning and leading garden, local food, agriculture and nutrition-related activities on the Bozone Ozone Bus mobile greenhouse, at the Summer Lunch Program, GVF2S summer camps, and at programs of other organizations around the valley.
